Dr. Christine Ng received her undergraduate degree as valedictorian and with academic distinction from Pacific Union College in northern California. She enrolled at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in southern California where she earned numerous honors including the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation of the American Women’s Medical Association, the National Dean’s List, and the Alpha Omega Alpha national honor society.
Dr. Ng then took her residency training in Internal Medicine at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, and served as the director of the Madigan Army Hospital Acute Illness Clinic (Tacoma) and served at the International District Community Health Clinic (Seattle).
Dr. Ng was a Clinical Instructor in Dermatology at the University of Washington School of Medicine (Seattle). She received a Letter of Citation for Excellence in Clinical Medicine from the Madigan Army Medical Center.
Dr. Ng left the Pacific Northwest for specialist training in Dermatology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and subsequently accepted a staff appointment at Mayo Clinic Florida in Jacksonville as a Senior Associate Consultant in the Department of Dermatology. While at Mayo, she was promoted to Assistant Professor in Dermatology of the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota. She also served as the Chair of Education for the Department of Dermatology and was honored as the Mayo Clinic Teacher of the Year in Dermatology (1998). She has authored numerous scientific publications and has presented lectures at major medical meetings — locally, nationally and internationally.
Dr. Ng served on the Board of the American Cancer Society, Beaches Chapter. She was Secretary-Treasurer and Past President of the Jacksonville Dermatology Society. She has been recognized as one of Jacksonville’s “Top Docs.” Dr. Ng is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology where she has served on the CME Program Review and Evaluation Task Force. She is an active member of Palms Presbyterian Church. She enjoys being a Rotarian in the Ponte Vedra Rotary Club, where she is a Paul Harris Fellow and serves as a member of the Board of Directors.
